Hands on exercises covering start up, braking, equipment, rear steer, front steer, traditional stopping techniques, jumping cars, obstacles and negotiating the track
Learn how to avoid truck, tire, and drivetrain damage and provide the most challenging of skills.
Learn maintenance. Fluid check, battery charging and maintenance.
Learn the seat belt and safety restraint systems, safety techniques as a driver as well as surroundings and spectators including for displays, parades and touch a truck events. As well as loading into the transport vehicles ie. tractor trailers etc.

General Intro to what is expected as a driver and operator of the Monster!

All monster truck experiences are under the supervision of a professional monster truck driver that has driven professionally.
There is no substitute for a live hands-on experience of a Monster X Driving Experience.

The Monster Truck Driving School Tuition prices can be based on demand and fluctuate, book early to secure current prices.

Requirements
Signed waiver, valid ID - no racing or off-road experience needed
Closed-toe shoes, long pants recommended.
Damage Deposit $1500 to prevent intention breakage and not following instructions, returned at the end of class, does not apply to parts breakage in most cases.

No, you do not need any specific driving experience.
You can schedule a driving lesson by calling us or filling out the contact form on our website. Our instructors will work with you to find a time that is convenient for you.
We recommend ages 7-11 Mini Monster Trucks, ages 12-17 the Júnior Monster Truck and 18+ Pro Monster Truck. We started out as young ages of 5, but it depends on the individual capabilities of each candidate.… seat sizes vary.
Yes, and in most cases, we can provide hi-res photos and video of the experience at an additional fee,
Comfortable clothes that will fit well under a fire suit. We provide the safety gear.
After booking the date with the Monster Truck Driving School you can use the pay link to reserve your time.
It is located at HorsePower Park in Morganton, NC just over an hour from both Charlotte and Asheville, a convenient drive from either just 10 minutes from I40.
Each classes food options differ from Food Trailer or Pizza Party, you are also welcome to bring a lunch.
The class length varies by how many drivers are attending but schedule between 2-4 hours
If done 14 days in advance you can change the date to the next class your available for but there is NO REFUNDS available. If the class must be rescheduled the week of the class due to weather, you will be able to pick another date.
